Recombinant human Placental HGH 22 kDa Recombinant produced in
E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 192 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 22.4 kDa. Predicted pI=7.80. Placental Growth Hormone has dimished lactogenic (prolactin receptor mediated) activity characteristic to pituitary GHs. GH Placental is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: GHL, GHV, GH-V, hGH-V, PGH.
Formulation: The protein was lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) solution with 0.0045 mM NaHCO3 previously adjusted pH 8-9.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity: Greater than 98% as determined by: (a) Analysis by SEC-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Source:Escherichia coli. Amino acid sequence: The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Ala-pH e-Pro-Thr-Ile.
Uniprot ACC number: P01242
Transportation method: Shipped at room temperature.
Stability: Lyophilized GH placental although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution and filter sterilization HGH placental can be stored at +4°C for up to 4 weeks. For long term storage and more diluted solutions it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Placental HGH in 0.4% NaHCO3 or water adjusted to pH 9, not less than 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
