BPE is obtained from the extraction of fresh frozen bovine pituitary glands in saline solution. The pituitaries are collected in the contiguous 48 United States only from USDA inspected facilities where animals receive ante and post mortem inspection. The pituitaries are found free of contagious diseases. The product is sterile filtered and kept at -20°C.
Product Use: BPE is for research use only. It is not approved for human or animal use, or for application in in vitro diagnostic procedures.
Storage: Store the BPE at -20°C until ready for use. Repeated freeze-thaws will reduce activity and should be avoided by proper aliquoting.
