HMEpiC are isolated from human breast. HMEpiC are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. Each vial contains >5 x 105 cells in 1 ml volume. HMEpiC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to cytokeratine-14, -18, and -19. HMEpiC are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. HMEpiC are guaranteed to further expand for 10 population doublings under the conditions provided.
Recommended Medium: It is recommended to use Mammary Epithelial Cell Medium (MEpiCM, Cat. No. SC7611) for expanding HMEpiC in vitro.
Product Use: HMEpiC are for research use only. It is not approved for human or animal use, or for application in in vitro diagnostic procedures.
Storage: Directly and immediately transfer cells from dry ice to liquid nitrogen upon receiving and keep the cells in liquid nitrogen until cell culture needed for experiments.
Shipping: Dry ice.
