The
E. coli derived recombinant protein contains the gp21 immunodominant region, 351-404 amino acids, the MW is 21 kDa. Fused with a GST-tag at N-Terminus.
Formulation: 60mM NaCl, 50mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 0.25% Sarkosil, 50% Glycerol and 10mM Glutathione.
Purity: HTLV-1 gp21 is >95% pure as determined by 10% SDS-PAGE (coomassie staining) and HPLC-C4.
Stability: HTLV-1 gp21 although stable at +4°C for 1 week, should be stored below -18°C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.
Transportation method: Shipped with Ice Packs.
Applications: HTLV-1 gp21 can be used as an antigen in ELISA and Western Blots. Excellent reagent for correct detection of HTLV infections, with minimal specificity problems.
