HIV-1 protease is an active homodimer having a molecular mass of 21.6 kDa (each monomer of 99 amino acids is 10.8 kDa).
Formulation: The HIV-1 Protease filtered (0.4µm) solution is formulated in 20mM Tris, 20mM MES, 200mM NaCl, 1mM EDTA, 10% (v/v) glycerol and 0.05% 2-mercaptoethanol, pH 6.5.
Physical Appearance: Sterile filtered colorless clear solution.
Purity: Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
