Recombinant Chlamydia pneumonia antigen, produced in
E. coli is derived from VD2-VD3 region of the CP major outer membrane protein (this region is recognized only by Chlamydia pneumonia antibody), it contains 160 amino acids and fused with a His-Tag at C-terminus, having a MW of about 21.5 kDa, the protein forms a monomer and a dimer on SDS-PAGE gel,the majority of the protein forms a dimer, which migrates at a MW of 42 kDa. Chlamydia pneumonia is purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.
Formulation: PBS buffer and 25mM arginine.
Physical Appearance: Sterile filtered colorless solution.
Purity: Protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining).
Source:Escherichia coli.Stability: Store at +4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
