S100A4 is a calcium-binding protein related to the S100 family of proteins. It is known also as a growth-related protein, CAPL. It is expressed at high levels in different mouse metastatic cells and in normal tissues (thymus, spleen) and activated macrophages, T cells, neutrophils, monocytes, macrophages .
Aliases- Protein S100-A4, Calvasculin, Metastasin, Placental calcium-binding protein, Protein Mts1, S100 calcium-binding protein A4, CAPL, MTS1
- Recombinant Human S100 Calcium Binding Protein A4 (S100A4)
Formulation- Recombinant S100-A4 was lyophilized from a 0.2 µm filtered PBS solution and 1.0 µm DTT.
Endotoxin Level- <1.0 EU/µg of recombinant protein as determined by the LAL method.
Storage Condition- The lyophilized protein is stable for at least one year from date of receipt at -70°C. Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored in working aliquots at +2° to +8°C for one month, or at -20°C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity.
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
