PRDX2, Rat Recombinant, produced in
Escherichia coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 222 amino acids (1-198 a. A) and having a molecular mass of 24.3 kDa. PRDX2 is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: Peroxiredoxin-2, Prdx2, Prdx, Thiol-specific antioxidant protein, TSA, Thioredoxin peroxidase 1, Thioredoxin-dependent peroxide reductase 1.
Formulation: PRDX2 protein solution (1mg/ml) containing Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.4), 10% glycerol and 1mM DTT.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Purity: Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Stability: Store at +4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
