Cyclophilin F, Rat Recombinant, produced in
Escherichia coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 200 amino acids (30-206 a. A) and having a molecular mass of 21.2Da. Cyclophilin F is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase F, mitochondrial, PPIase F, Cyclophilin D, CyP-D, CypD, Cyclophilin F, Rotamase F.
Formulation: Cyclophilin F protein solution (1mg/ml) containing Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.4), 10% glycerol and 1mM DTT.
Physical Appearance: Sterile filtered colorless solution.
Purity: Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Stability: Store at +4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Biological Activity: Specific activity is > 1,300 nmol/min/mg, and is defined as the amount of enzyme that cleaves 1nmol of suc-AAFP-PNA per minute at 37°C in Tris–HCl pH 8 using chymotrypsin.
