RPIA, produced in
E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 331 amino acids (1-311) and having a molecular mass of 35.4 kDa. RPIA is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: Ribose-5-phosphate isomerase, Phosphoriboisomerase, RPIA, RPI.
Formulation: The RPIA solution (0.25mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 2mM DTT,40% glycerol, 200mM NaCl, 2mM EDTA and 0.2mM PMSF.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered clear solution.
Purity: Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
