E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 255 amino acids (44-277) and having a molecular mass of 27.6 kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear higher). PSMB7 is fused to a 21 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
