NANS, fused with a 20 amino acid His tag at N-terminus produced in
E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 379 amino acids (1-359 a. a.) and having a molecular mass of 42.4 kDa. The NANS is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: Sialic acid synthase, N-acetylneuraminate synthase, N-acetylneuraminate-9-phosphate synthase, N-acetylneuraminic acid phosphate synthase, N-acetylneuraminic acid synthase, NANS, SAS.
Formulation: The NANS solution (0.5 mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.1M NaCl, 1mM DTT and 10% glycerol.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Purity: Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
