MAO-B, produced in
E. coli is single, a non-glycosylated, Polypeptide chain containing 488 amino acids fragment (2-489) corresponding to the cytoplasmic domain fragment of the mature protein, having a total molecular mass of 59.84 kDa and fused with a 4.5 kDa amino-terminal hexahistidine tag. The MAO-B is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
