MVD, produced in
E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 420 amino acids (1-400) and having a molecular mass of 45.6 kDa. MVD is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: Diphosphomevalonate decarboxylase, Mevalonate (diphospho)decarboxylase, MDDase, Mevalonate pyrophosphate decarboxylase, MVD, MPD, FP17780.
Formulation: The MVD solution (0.5mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 20% glycerol and 1mM DTT.
