CAT, produced in
E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 547 amino acids (1-527) and having a molecular mass of 61.9 kDa. CAT is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: Catalase, CAT.
Formulation: The CAT solution (1mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl and 10% glycerol.
Physical Appearance: Sterile filtered yellowish solution.
