ALDOC, produced in
E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 364 amino acids (1-364 a. a.) and having a molecular mass of 39.4 kDa. The ALDOC is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Stability: Store at +4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Biological Activity: Specific activity is > 6 units/mg, one unit will convert 1.0 umol of fructose 1,6-diphosphate to dihydroxyacetone phosphate and glyceraldehydes 3- phosphate per minute at pH 7.5 at 37C.
