Recombinant human Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor produced in
E. coli is a non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain (aa 207-371) containing a total of 185 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 21.3 kDa (corresponding to Isoform L-VEGF165 UniProt acc#P15692-11). The VEGF is fused to a 20 a.a. His-tag at N-terminus and is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
