Recombinant human VEGFD produced in HEK-293 cells is a secreted protein (amino acids pH e93-Ser201) fused to a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
Synonyms: c-fos induced growth factor (vascular endothelial growth factor D), FIGF, VEGFD.
Formulation: The recombinant VEGF-D was Lyophilized after extensive dialysis against PBS.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity: Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Source: HEK293.
Uniprot ACC number: O43915
Transportation method: Shipped at room temperature.
Stability: Lyophilized VEGF-D although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution VEGF-D should be stored at +4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Biological Activity: The ED50 of 3-4 ng/ml is measured by its ability to stimulate the proliferation of human microvascular endothelial cells (HMVECs).
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor D in sterile 18MΩ-cm H
2O not less than 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
