Recombinant human TGF-β 3 produced in
E. coli is a disulfide-linked homodimeric, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing two 113 amino acid chains and having a total molecular mass of 25.8 kDa. The TGF-β 3 is purified by standard chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: Transforming Growth Factor-beta3, TGFB3, ARVD, FLJ16571, TGF-beta3.
Formulation: The protein solution contains 20% Ethanol and 10 mM Acetic acid (AcOH).
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered clear solution.
Purity: Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Source:Escherichia coli. Amino acid sequence: MALDTNYCFRN LEENCCVRPL YIDFRQDLGW KWVHEPKGYY ANFCSGPCPY LRSADTTHST VLGLYNTLNP EASASPCCVP QDLEPLTILY YVGRTPKVEQ LSNMVVKSCK CS.
Uniprot ACC number: P106 00
Transportation method: Shipped with Ice Packs.
Stability: TGF-beta 3 although stable at room temperature for 1 week, should be stored at +4°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Biological Activity: The activity is determined by the ability to induce chondrogenic differentiation.
