Recombinant human PLGF1 (21-221 a.a.) produced in
E. coli is a disulfide-linked homodimeric, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 129 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 29 kDa. The PLGF-1 protein is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: PIGF, PGF, PLGF-1.
Formulation: PLGF-1 protein was lyophilized from a 0.2 µm filtered solution in Acetonitrile and TFA.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity: Greater than 97% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Source:Escherichia coli. Amino acid sequence: AVPPQQWALS AGNGSSEVEV VPFQEVWGRS YCRALERLVD VVSEYPSEVE HMFSPSCVSL LRCTGCCGDE NLHCVPVETA NVTMQLLKIR SGDRPSYVEL TFSQHVRCEC RPLREKMKPE RCGDAVPRR.
Uniprot ACC number: P49763
Transportation method: Shipped at room temperature.
Stability: Lyophilized PLGF-1 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution PLGF1 should be stored at +4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Biological Activity: Binds to i mMobilized rHuVEGFR1 with EC50 less than 6 ng/ml.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized PLGF1 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H
2O not less than 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
