Recombinant human NT-Pro-B-type Natriuretic Protein produced in
E. coli is a non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 76 amino acid and having a molecular mass of approximately 8.5 kDa. NT-proBNP is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation: lyophilized from a 0.2μm filtered concentrated solution in 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0 and 150 mM NaCl.

Stability: Lyophilized NT-proBNP although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution NT-Pro-B-type Natriuretic Protein should be stored at +4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized NT-Pro-B-type Natriuretic Protein in sterile 18MΩ-cm H
2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
