Recombinant human Noggin produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a glycosylated homodimer containing 205 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 47.9 kDa under non-reducing conditions. (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 50-80 kDa). Noggin is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Transportation method: Shipped at room temperature.
Stability: Lyophilized Noggin although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Noggin should be stored at +4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Biological Activity: Measured by its ability to inhibit BMP-4-induced alkaline pH ospH atase production by ATDC5 mouse chondrogenic cellsans was fount to be 0.04‑0.2 μg/mL in the presence of 50 ng/ml of Recombinant Human BMP‑4.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Noggin in sterile 18MΩ-cm H
2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
