Recombinant human NRGN produced in
E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 101 amino acids (1-78 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 10.0 kDa (molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear higher). NRGN is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: hng, RC3, Neurogranin, Ng, NRGN.
Formulation: NRGN protein solution (0.5 mg/ml) contains 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 7.0), 30% glycerol 0.1 mM PMSF and 1 mM EDTA.
Physical Appearance: Sterile filtered colorless solution.
Purity: Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
