Recombinant human sIL-6R produced in
E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 338 amino acids (20-357) corresponding to the mature IL-6R protein, having a molecular weight of 42.25 kDa, with an aminoterminal hexahistidine tag. The sIL6R is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
