Recombinant human IL6 produced in Baculovirus is a single glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 189 amino acids (30-212aa) and having a molecular mass of 21.6 kDa. (Migrates at 18-28 kDa on SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions). IL6 is fused to a 6 amino acid His-Tag at C-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
