Recombinant human Interleukin-5 produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 124 amino acids (20-134 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 14.2 kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 13.5-18 kDa). IL5 is expressed with a 6 amino acid His-tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
