Recombinant human Interleukin-19 produced in
E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 155 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 17.9 kDa. The IL-19 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: Melanoma differentiation association like protein, MDA1, NG.1, ZMDA1, IL-10C, IL-19.
Formulation: lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) solution in water containing 10 mM sodium citrate pH -5.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity: Greater than 99.0% as determined by(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Source:Escherichia coli. Amino acid sequence: The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Met-Leu-Arg-Arg-Cys.
Uniprot ACC number: Q9UHD0
Transportation method: Shipped at room temperature.
Stability: Lyophilized Interleukin-19 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution IL19 should be stored at +4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Biological Activity: The activity is determined by it's ability to activate STAT following receptor-ligand interaction.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Interleukin -19 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H
2O at a concentration of 0.5 mg/ml or less.
