Recombinant human IL1R2 produced in Sf9 Insect cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 338 amino acids (14-343 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 38.8 kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 40-57 kDa). IL1R2 is expressed with an 8 amino acid His-Tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Biological Activity: Measured by its ability to inhibit proliferation using D10. G4.1 mouse helper T cells. The ED50 for this effect is ≤ to 400 ng/ml with IL-1beta.
