Recombinant human Interferon-a 2b produced in
E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 165 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 19.3 kDa. The Pegylated IFN-a 2b is produced by attaching a 20 kDa mPEG-aldehyde to the N-terminal IFN Alpha-2b. Interferon-a 2b is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
