Recombinant human G-CSF produced in HEK cells is a glycosylated monomer, having a molecular weight range of 21-25 kDa due to glycosylation. The G-CSF is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: CSF-3, MGI-1G, GM-CSF beta, Pluripoietin, Filgrastim, Lenograstim, G-CSF, MGC45931, GCSF.
Formulation: The G-CSF was lyophilized from 1mg/ml in 1xPBS.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity: Greater than 95% as obsereved by SDS-PAGE.
Source: HEK.
Uniprot ACC number: P09919
Transportation method: Shipped at room temperature.
Stability: Lyophilized G-CSF although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution G-CSF should be stored at +4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Biological Activity: The specific activity was determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of murine M-NFS-60 cells (Mouse Myeloid Leukemia indicator cell line), the ED50 is <0.01 ng/ml.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized G-CSF in sterile 1xPBS containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant HSA.
