Recombinant human Flt3-Ligand produced in
E. coli is a non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 165 amino acids (including His-Tag) and having a molecular mass of 18.9 kDa. Flt3-Ligand is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: Fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand, FLK2, STK1, CD135, Stem Cell Tyrosine Kinase 1, FLT3LG, Flt3.
Formulation: The protein was Lyophilized with PBS.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity: Greater than 97 % as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Source:Escherichia coli. Uniprot ACC number: P49771
Transportation method: Shipped at room temperature.
Stability: Lyophilized Flt3-Ligand although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Flt3-Ligand should be stored at +4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Biological Activity: The activity was measured in a cell proliferation assay using OCI-AML5 cells (ATCC ACC 247). The EC50 for this effect is typically 0.2-1 ng/ml.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Flt3-L in sterile 18MΩ-cm H
2O not less than 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
