Recombinant human Flt3-Ligand produced in HEK cells is a glycosylated monomer, having a molecular weight range of 24-30 kDa due to glycosylation. The Flt3-Ligand is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: Fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand, FLK2, STK1, CD135, Stem Cell Tyrosine Kinase 1, FLT3LG, Flt3.
Formulation: Flt3-Ligand was lyophilized from a 0.2µm filtered solution containing 1xPBS.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity: Greater than 95% as determined by: (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Source: HEK293 (Human Embryonic Kidney cell line).

Uniprot ACC number: P49771
Transportation method: Shipped at room temperature.
Stability: Lyophilized Flt3-Ligand although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Flt3-Ligand should be stored at +4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Biological Activity: The activity was determined by the dose- dependent stimulation of the proliferation of the human acute myeloid leukemia cell line OCI-AML5. The ED50 is 0.56 ng/ml.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Flt3-Ligand in sterile 18MΩ-cm H
2O not less than 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
