Recombinant human FGF13 produced in
E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 245 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 27.6 kDa. The FGF-13 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: Fibroblast growth factor 13, FGF-13, Fibroblast growth factor homologous factor 2, FHF-2, FGF13, FHF2.
Formulation: FGF13 protein was lyophilized from a 0.2 µm filtered concentrated solution in 20 mM PB, 0.5M NaCl, pH 7.4.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity: Greater than 95% as determined by: (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.

Uniprot ACC number: Q92913
Transportation method: Shipped at room temperature.
Stability: Lyophilized FGF13 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution FGF-13 should be stored at +4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized FGF-13 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H
2O not less than 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
