Recombinant human BST2 produced in
E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 133 amino acids (50-161) and having a molecular mass of 14.8 kDa. The BST2 is fused to a 21 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: Bone marrow stromal cell antigen 2, CD317 antigen, BST-2, HM1.24 antigen, Tetherin, NPC-A-7.
Formulation: BST2 protein 0.5 mg/ml is supplied in 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8, 0.1M NaCl, 1 mM DTT and 20% Glycerol.
Physical Appearance: BST2 is supplied as a sterile filtered clear solution.
Purity: Greater than 80% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
