E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 74 amino acids fragment (24-87) corresponding to the mature Eotaxin protein and having a molecular mass of 8.3 kDa with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag. The Eotaxin-His is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
