Sincalide also called CCK-8 has a molecular formula of C49H62N10O16S3 , H-Asp-Tyr(SO3H)-Met-Gly-Trp-Met-Asp-Phe-NH2 having an Mw of 1.1 kDa.
Formulation: The Sincalide was lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) solution with no additives.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity: Greater than 99% as determined by RP-HPLC.
Transportation method: Shipped at room temperature.
Stability: Lyophilized Sincalide although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CCK-8 should be stored at +4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Sincalide in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O at a concentration of 0.5mg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
