Glucagon Like Peptide-1 produced in
E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 31 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 3.3 kDa. The GLP-1 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: GLP1, GLP2, GRPP.
Formulation: The Recombinant GLP-1 concentrated solution (1mg/ml) was lyophilized after extensive dialyses against 0.1mg sodium phosphate monobasic & 1.6mg sodium phosphate dibasic.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity: Greater than 95% as determined by: (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Source:Escherichia coli.Amino acid sequence: HAEGTFTSDV SSYLEGQAAK EFIAWLVKGR G.
Uniprot ACC number: P01275
Transportation method: Shipped at room temperature.
Stability: Lyophilized Glucagon Like Peptide-1 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution GLP-1 should be stored at +4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Glucagon Like Peptide-1 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
