CGB produced in
E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 168 amino acids (21-165 a. a.) and having a molecular mass of 17.9 kDa. CGB is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Synonyms: CGB3, CGB5, CGB7, CGB8, hCGB, CG-beta, CGB.
Formulation: CGB protein solution (0.5mg/ml) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.4M Urea and 10% glycerol.
