Recombinant human CD40 produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 180 amino acids (20-193 a. a.) and having a molecular mass of 20.1 kDa (Migrates at 18-28 kDa on SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions). CD40 is expressed with a 6 amino acid His-Tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
