Ham's Nutrient Mixtures were originally developed to support the clonal growth of Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells as well as HeLa and mouse L-cells. Ham's F-10 has been shown to support the growth of human diploid cells, white blood cells (WBC) for chromosomal analysis, and primary explants of rat, rabbit and chicken tissue. Ham's F-10 with L-glutamine and 25 mM HEPES is well suited for supporting the growth of a broad range of mammalian cell lines.
