Components: NPCM-GF consists of 500 ml of basal medium, 10 mL of fetal bovine serum (FBS, Cat. no. 0010), 5 mL of Nucleus Pulposus Cell Growth Supplement (NPCGS, Cat. no. 4852) and 5 mL of penicillin/streptomycin solution (P/S, Cat. no. 0503). Note: FBS, NPCGS and P/S are not premixed in NPCM-GF; they must be added separately to make the complete NPCM-GF. NOTE: NPCM-GF should be supplemented with Glucose Solution (GS; Cat no. 0893) prior to use. Glucose Solution is not included and should be purchased separately.
Product Use: NPCM-GF is for research use only. It is not approved for human or animal use, or for application in in vitro diagnostic procedures.
Storage: Store the basal medium at 4oC and the NPCGS, FBS and P/S solution at -20oC. Protect from light.
