HIBEpiC from ScienCell Research Laboratories are isolated from human liver tissue. HIBEpiC are cryopreserved after purification and delivered frozen.
Recommended Medium: Each vial contains >5 x 105 cells in 1 ml volume. HIBEpiC are characterized by immunofluorescent method with antibodies to cytokeratin 18, 19 and vimentin. HIBEpiCs are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi. HIBEpiC are guaranteed to further expand for 15 population doublings in the condition provided by ScienCell Research Laboratories. It is recommended to use Epithelial Cell Medium (EpiCM, Cat. No. SC4101) for the culturing of HIBEpiC in vitro.

Storage: Directly and immediately transfer cells from dry ice to liquid nitrogen upon receiving and keep the cells in liquid nitrogen until cell culture is needed for experiments.
