Product description:
Macrophages are produced from pooled human peripheral blood CD14 positive monocytes (purity > 90%). Macrophages are prepared from monocytes cultured with medium containing with rhM-CSF for a few days and are cryopreserved at primary culture. Macrophages are characterized by using antibodies specific to CD14, CD11b. Human macrophages are from pooled multi-donor of heathy adults and are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi.
Macrophages are guaranteed to further culture under the conditions provided; however, macrophages have limited expansion capacity.
Recommended Medium:
It is recommended to use Macrophage Culture Kit (Cat. 3H800-30-50-k, 50 ml) for culturing human macrophages in vitro.

Human macrophages are for laboratory research use only. They are not approved for human or animal use, or for application in in vitro diagnostic procedures.
Storage:
Upon receiving, directly and immediately transfer the cells from dry ice to liquid nitrogen and keep the cells in liquid nitrogen until they are needed for experiments.
