Product description:
Macrophage cultures are produced from human peripheral blood CD14 positive monocytes (purity > 90%). Macrophages are cultured from monocytes in media containing rhM-CSF for a few days and are Ready-to-Use. Human macrophages are from a normal heathy adult single donor. Macrophages are characterized by using antibodies specific to CD14, CD11b. Macrophages are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi.
Macrophages are guaranteed to further culture under the conditions provided; however, macrophages have limited expansion capacity.
