Macrophages are produced from human peripheral blood CD14 positive monocytes (purity > 90%). Macrophages are prepared from monocytes cultured with medium containing rhM-CSF for a few days and are cryopreserved at primary culture.
Macrophages are characterized by using antibodies specific to CD14, CD11b.
Human macrophages are from a single donor of heathy adult.
Cryopreserved Human Macrophages are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi.
Macrophages are guaranteed to further culture under the conditions provided; however, macrophages have limited expansion capacity.
Recommended Medium:
It is recommended to use Macrophage Culture kit (Cat. 3H800-30-50-k, 50 ml) for culturing human macrophages in vitro.

Storage:
Upon receiving, directly and immediately transfer the cells from dry ice to liquid nitrogen and keep the cells in liquid nitrogen until they are needed for experiments.
