Human peripheral blood eosinophils are polymorphonuclear granulocytes. Massive accumulation of eosinophils is a key feature of allergic diseases, bronchial asthma and atopic dermatitis.
Cell Source
Normal human peripheral blood eosinophils are isolated from Buffy-coats by density centrifugation followed by negative selection using immune-magnetic anti-CD16 beads.
Cell Characterization
Eosinophils preparations were stained with May-Gruenwald-Giemsa. The purity of eosinophils is >=90%.
Eosinophils are tested negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV.
Cell Culture Condition
The cells are cryopreserved immediately after isolation and are guaranteed to further culture at the conditions provided in the Instruction for use.
