Immortalized Mink Endometrial Stromal Cells (GMms1) are derived from uterus of adult female minks. These cells were found to have a positive effect on enhancing the frequency and duration of embryo survival in vitro when coculturing with mink embryos.

Propagation: The base medium for this cell line is DMEM and F-10 (Gibco, 1:1). and 10 mg/ml insulin (Sigma). To make make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum (TM999)* to a final concentration of 5%, Penicillin/Streptomycin Solution (G255) to a final concentration of 1%, estradiol 17β (Sigma) to a final concentration of 10^-7, insulin (Sigma) to a final concentration of 10 mg/mL, fungizone to a final concentration of 0.5 µg/mL.
Change media every 2-3 days.
Carbon dioxide (CO₂): 5%, Temperature: +37.0°C.
