Immortalized Human Neonatal Foreskin Keratinocytes (HKc16E6/E7-II) are normal human keratinocytes isolated from neonatal foreskins biopsy and immortalized by transfection with HPV16 E6 and E7 genes. HKc16E6/E7-II cells will be useful for investigating the molecular biology of HPV16 and the interactions between the viral DNA and the human genome. HKc16E6/E7-II cell line can also serve a model for analyzing the effects of HPV16 on the function and pathology of human epithelial cells.
