Muscarinic type 3 receptor (M3R) is the primary receptor subtype to promote fluid secretion in salivary acinar cells. Research has shown that anti-M3R autoantibodies (anti-M3R) are potential inhibitors of saliva secretion in Sjögren's syndrome (SjS), however there is currently no anti-M3R detection method established. M3R Stable Expressing HEK293 (M3R-GFP) Cell Line is applicable for studies on SjS. It can also be utilized for studies on chronic fatigue syndrome, and neurology or neural regulation-related studies as M3R is one of the important receptors for parasympathetic neurotransmitter, acetylcholine.
