GFP1-10 Stable Expressing MDCK Cell Line was established by transducing parental MDCK cells with the pCMV-GFP1-10 plasmid. By itself, GFP1-10 is a fragment containing three residues that constitute the GFP chromophore, thus is non-fluorescent. Therefore, it is valuable cell line to be used in assays in which GFP11 is fused to an epitope of a target protein to study. The fused protein may be transfected into the cell line. Upon complementation, GFP1-10 and GFP11 fluoresces and can be visualized by microscopy.

To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum (TM999)* to a final concentration of 5% and Penicillin/Streptomycin Solution (G255) to a final concentration of 1%.Change media every 2-3 days.Carbon dioxide (CO2): 5%, Temperature: +37.0°C.* Do not use heat-inactivated FBS for cell culture unless specified otherwise.
